Nikons newest addition to the D8xx line up. 36mp full frame sensor with the ability to shoot from ISO64 to ISO12800 this camera is said to set a new standard in prosumer DSLR's
With this amount of pixels you really can crop to your hearts content and still end up with a very respectable file size. Even if you crop for a 3:1 Panoramic you're left with a 12mp file.
Ask anyone that has used both the D800/E and the D810 and they'll tell you thie new D810 is what the earlier models should have been. Its super quiet and takes a sharper image, and there are a few small tweaks that have made this camera even more of a dream to use.
Wow, just wow!
I know I get called a Nikon lover, but I have a plethora of camera to choose from and this is my new 'go to' camera. For my landscape work it's a joy to shoot with. I keep in close contact with Elia Locardi and when he upgraded from the D800 to the D810 I had to ask him what he thought, he said "Ben, this is what the D800 should have been", I knew at that point that this was going to be a great camera, and it is!
Give it a go yourself!
Ps. I recommend hiring the D810 Really Right Stuff L Bracket at the same time if you use Arca Swiss style tripod head. I will fit it on for you before shipping the D810 to you.
